Don't Overfill Your Stomach!
Your stomach is like a balloon that expands and contracts with each food load. When you overfill it repeatedly, the stomach loses it's tone. The result: It takes more food to fill up each time you eat. While people with a normal stomach capacity generally feel full with 2 to 2 1/2 cups of food, a person who's stretched their stomach may need to eat 3 or more cups of food to feel equally satisfied. And that usually means more calories and fat storage. If you've been overloading, take heart. Research shows that you may be able to shrink your stomach back to size in as little time as one month by eating smaller meals.

Not to mention time. Physiological studies of have gathered evidence that there is a 30 minute lag response from the time you ingest something to the time that the message of full gets to your brain. The smooth muscle cells in the stomach allow for an incredible amount of stretch. The feeling of full does not come from the stomach but from the small intestines. The endothelial cells lining your small intestines secrete PYY which trigger the brain the prime regulator of short-term appetite control. Large amounts of PYY have been correlated leptin secretion from the adipocytes. which is why if you planning on eating a meal a burger for example is 3-5 fold time larger (amount of food wise) to satisfy your small intestines ability to maintain motility. SO WAIT AT LEAST 30 minutes befor eating your fries!
